Behind this label are several thousand French winemakers who cultivate their vines, vinify, and market their wines themselves. Depuis 1976, la Confédération des Vignerons Indépendants de France représente et défend un modèle viticole singulier, fondé sur l’indépendance, le savoir-faire, le lien direct avec le consommateur et la richesse des territoires. Syndicat professionnel, elle agit pour la reconnaissance du métier de Vigneron Indépendant, le soutien aux domaines viticoles, et la promotion de leurs spécificités en France comme à l’international. Organisée en réseau et animée par des vignerons engagés, la Confédération repose sur un fonctionnement démocratique, collégial et participatif.
